For nearly 150 years, our family’s story has been woven into Texas land, cattle, energy, and mineral rights. Today, Murrow & Williams Holdings carries that inheritance forward with a long-term commitment to responsible stewardship and the generations ahead.

A Family Story Written Into the Texas Landscape

At the center of our family story are E. R. Taylor and Ann George, whose life together began in the aftermath of the Civil War. In the face of laws and customs that sought to divide them, they built a life and a 600-acre farm outside Houston, where they raised six children.

Their daughter Nettie Taylor married Jerome Aredell Williams, bringing the Taylor and Williams family histories together. They were Daisi’s great-grandparents. Oil discovered on the family property in 1921 connected its agricultural roots to Texas’ energy economy. A portion of the original farm remains the Taylor-Stevenson Ranch, carried forward by descendants and continuing agricultural traditions.

Carrying the Story Forward

Following her mother Felicia Vivian Williams’s death in 2024, Daisi Pollard Sepulveda took on responsibility for the Williams family inheritance. Through Murrow & Williams Holdings, she manages inherited Texas land and connected interests. That work brings the family’s history into present-day decisions about land management, mineral ownership, records, and continuity.
