Stewarding the Texas Horizon.
For nearly 150 years, our family’s story has been woven into Texas land, cattle, energy, and mineral rights. Today, Murrow & Williams Holdings carries that inheritance forward with a long-term commitment to responsible stewardship and the generations ahead.

A Family Story Written Into the Texas Landscape
At the center of our family story are E. R. Taylor and Ann George, whose life together began in the aftermath of the Civil War. In the face of laws and customs that sought to divide them, they built a life and a 600-acre farm outside Houston, where they raised six children.
One of their children was Nettie Williams, Daisi’s great-grandmother. Oil was discovered on the family property in 1921, linking the family’s agricultural history to Texas’ emerging energy economy. A portion of the original farm remains the Taylor-Stevenson Ranch today, carried forward by descendants and its continuing agricultural traditions.

Across Houston, Texas, deep roots anchor the land and family history stretches across generations. This land remains the foundation of our shared legacy.
